I am a #VZWBuzz Ambassador, as such I have or will receive product &/or compensation, however all opinions are strictly my own.
OK…I’m going to ask for a little audience participation here.
When you’re shopping for a new device, such as a mobile phone or a tablet, do you like to walk into a store and shop? Do you want someone to explain to you the pluses and minuses of each phone? Are you secure in knowing ahead of time EXACTLY what you want, and simply order your upgrade or a new device having done your own research?
I’ll admit that I am more of an online shopper for most of what I buy, but there’s something about picking up a phone, feeling the weight and size of it in my palm, knowing just how that screen is going to react to my touch before laying down hundreds of dollars. Call me old-school, but I’m not to keen on making mistakes when it comes to technology. Also, Ben used to work at a Verizon store WAY back in the day, and I remember him telling me that the guys who worked there could get deals that I couldn’t get if I just ORDERED online.
I don’t feel the same way about my accessories.
I usually know exactly what I want
- Protection device
- Extra Battery Charger
- Earbuds
- etc.
My most recent “toy” for my Verizon Wireless Samsung Galaxy S5 is a small tripod for doing video reviews. That’s RIGHT, I’ve graduated from using the webcam on my computer to just putting my phone in a tripod. This way I can video wherever I like…like CAMPING IN THAILAND last week. ALL of my videos were done via my phone (even though I do have a DSLR). The large camera is too bulky to carry.
When I’m at the computer, I leave my phone in the tripod, even when charging it. It’s convenient and I never wander around the house LOOKING for it (something that I was guilty of many times in the past).
OK, I’ve shared MY favorite toy and how I shop.
Now it’s YOUR turn.
1. Do you shop online or in-store for your mobile devices?
2. What is your newest toy for your mobile device?
