It’s not easy to stay. I know, I’ve been married for what will be 35 years this May. That’s a LONG time, but it hasn’t been easy. There are times that walking away sounded very enticing. There have been good times and miserable ones. Any of you that are coupled understand this, and I think it’s interesting to see (and learn) from how other couples heal their issues.
Sex Box
WE tv is debuting a new way for couples in the midst of troubled relationships learn to repair their emotional boundaries and sexual issues. In weekly Friday episodes, three couples from all sorts of backgrounds face their problems head on in front of expert therapists in hopes of repairing their failing relationships on the new show Sex Box. With Clinical Psychotherapist and Sexologist Dr. Chris Donaghue, along with Dr. Fran Walfish, Relationship Psychotherapist and Dr. Yvonne Capehart, Pastor and Couples Counselor, the couples will get straight advice to help them WORK through the issues that are affecting them. This is extreme couple’s therapy…where the the first 15 minutes after intimacy, the body is flooded with oxytocin and endorphins which makes it easier to open up honestly to their partner and therapist. Viewers have sex on stage in front of the audience in THE SEX BOX. It is private, sound proof, and viewers and audience can’t see or hear them, allowing them intimate time as a couple, focusing on their physical relationship with no interference. When they come out of the Sex Box, they sit down and can be completely honest with each other.
Girls Confidential
Do you know how you can easily open up to your girlfriends…sometimes even more than with your partner? I do it all the time. Just ask Rachel and Lisa. It would be so much fun to get together tonight, watch Sex Box over a few drinks and have a girl’s night. We talk about our relationships anyway. Wouldn’t he like to be a fly on the wall with the girls? Um, yes! Chat with your friends about overcoming trust issues, where did the passion go, and expectations you have.
