I’ve got an earworm. Usually it happens when I start thinking about a particular song. In this case it’s because I have the new Soundfreaq set up in my guest room, and since Soundfreaq reminds me of Super Freak it just popped in my head, and it wouldn’t leave.
If you’ve ever had an earworm you know how annoying it can be. It can keep you up at night, interrupt a good book, even become LOUD in the SHOWER. Fortunately for me, I know EXACTLY how to get rid of it….
By the way, after you left I BLASTED IT (just wanted to make certain that I was really rid of it), and I went on to switch to the James Taylor/Alison Krauss channel (much more to my liking). Thank goodness I had the Soundfreaq to help.
Keep the Power in Your Hand, Not in a Dock
You use your mobile devices (iPad, iPhone, Android, Blackberry, etc.) for just about everything: to make calls, write emails, browse the web, listen to music, watch movies, play games, and use countless apps. But it’s hard to multi-task with home audio systems that still require docking. With built-in Bluetooth capability, you can stream audio directly to the Soundfreaq SFQ-02 Sound Step without missing a beat; letting you keep your device exactly where you want it- in your hand.
Did you HEAR THAT SOUND?
This little unit packs a BIG BANG with incredible high Fidelity sound in a compact system. What you didn’t see were some of the amazing features, like bluetooth (which means that I can stream WIRELESSLY from ANY bluetooth device (not just my iPhone). Best of all it’s got a BUILT-IN RECHARGEABLE lithium-ion battery, which means that when those awful storms hit down here in Florida, I can still listen for an extra 6 HOURS (usually plenty of time for the electricity to come back on). It also means that I can have a party in the yard and not worry about whether there’s an electrical socket or not…there will be TUNES for the MASSES.
Bring The Sound Anywhere
Sound Step is designed to bring anywhere with a rechargeable battery and low profile. Sound Step is crafted for natural bass response, vocal clarity and stereo separation with a 2.1 speaker configuration with a sub-woofer. Designed for music lovers, Sound Platform is acoustically balanced to compliment every genre, at any volume.
It’s even got a headphone jack, in case Mr. S doesn’t want to hear my music as he’s watching the Barrett Jackson Auctions in bed. There’s also a built in FM tuner for those times when NPR is what I feel like listening to.
Stay in Charge
Sound Step works with all docking iPod and iPhone devices, and also fits the iPad to keep it charged too- even when in a case. With USB charging, you can keep your Blackberry, Android, Bluetooth headset, iPhone, mobile phone or any USB-chargeable device fully powered.
One of the things that I love about the Soundfreaq is…THE SOUND. It’s amazing how a small speaker can put out such quality sound. It’s like I’ve got a fancy sound system that fits right next to the bed!
Instant Entertainment System
Not only does Sound Step bring music to life, it plays any audio from your iPad and smart mobile devices. With a low profile, it fits conveniently on a desk, under a computer or TV, delivering a crystal clear audio experience for movies, TV shows, videos, games, Internet radio and apps.

So that’s what they’re called, ear worms! Whenever I get one that refuses to leave, I have a surefire way to get rid of it. I just start singing MmmBop by Hanson. Of course, then you have THAT song in your head. 😉
