I will be at early retirement age next year – in February of 2016. I didn’t even know at what age I could retire, until I looked it up. Suddenly the words retirement security and retirement income planning are more than popping up on my radar; they have been on my radar for awhile now. I am one of those people who procrastinate, but when I discovered the “Don’t Worry, Retire Happy” program offered by State Farm, I finally realized that there was a program including a book that would lead me through Social Security and all that retirement implies. Since I am a book person, and need structure I was thrilled!
The fact that most of us have the means and help to retire was news to me! I have plenty of time, I can work on my financial resources, and I certainly have the motivation to retire happy! AND I need help with all the ins and outs that retirement carries. The Don’t Worry, Retire Happy program is there for me!
I get lost in the details. I get so overwhelmed when faced with a task like retirement that I forget to break it down into small feasible steps, and the Don’t Worry, Retire Happy program does that for me. The program lists Seven Steps to Retirement that anyone can follow. Since my first step is Social Security retirement, I immediately checked out the book which allows me to define my retirement the way I want and to go through the steps to ease into Social Security benefits. I was pleased to learn that most of us actually have the me, financial resources and courage to retire happy. I learned just how by going through the 7 steps in Don’t Worry, Retire Happy™
And to make things even easier, you can watch the Don’t Worry, Retire Happy TV Special on Public Television. Since I watch and support public television I plan to make the pledge to receive a copy of the DVD and the book to share with a friend! And you can too. Check out your local TV station to learn when it airs.
I know retirement for me is a touchy and scary subject! I can only take the steps to enter into Social Security and Retirement one at a time. I loved that the DVD and book offered by the Don’t Worry, Retire Happy program let me go at my own pace, and walked me through my frustrations with easy to follow steps and instructions. There is nothing like the peace of mind as a woman in knowing that my retirement needs are do-able! I feel like a financial pro when I take care of myself and the financial needs that will take care of me!
For you younger readers, time goes fast! Start planning now and you will find it easier to make your retirement possible and plentiful! Thank you Don’t Worry, Retire Happy, and public television for helping me segue into Social Security benefits, my retirement security and my retirement income planning! You rock!
