Growing up I was encouraged to always go for my dreams, and while it was a bit easier when I was younger, it taught me those valuable lessons. My dad’s mantra was “dare to be different” (which I translated into just being myself), and my mom’s was “follow the directions and you can be anything you want.” So far, it’s made for a life that’s been fulfilling.
But, going for your dreams doesn’t stop at age 50, 60, 70 or beyond. And while it was a bit easier when I was young (mostly because I had a younger body), if I take care of myself I can KEEP living like this for a very long time.
