- Life is about the journey, not the destination
- You can do anything you want in life, if you follow the directions
- Dare to be yourself
- To achieve your goals, you must stay sharp and healthy
- My husband will always have selective hearing (just like my son)
Growing up I was encouraged to always go for my dreams, and while it was a bit easier when I was younger, it taught me those valuable lessons. My dad’s mantra was “dare to be different” (which I translated into just being myself), and my mom’s was “follow the directions and you can be anything you want.” So far, it’s made for a life that’s been fulfilling.
But, going for your dreams doesn’t stop at age 50, 60, 70 or beyond. And while it was a bit easier when I was young (mostly because I had a younger body), if I take care of myself I can KEEP living like this for a very long time.
But, before I hop on that plane to hike up to Machu Picchu, take a ballet class, or learn to scuba dive, I need to know that I’m healthy enough to do them. That’s why I rely on United Medicare Advisors to help find the RIGHT Medicare plan for me.
Whether you are getting ready to be on Medicare yourself, already are, or are helping your parents, grandparents or other loved one try to figure out if they need a Medigap or Medicare Supplement plan and are looking for the best value in a Medicare plan, United Medicare Advisors are always there to help.

My husband’s selective hearing
I’ve learned how to get his attention (most of the time), but just in case….I DID ask his doctor to check his hearing (he can hear a pin drop). Unfortunately, there are some things you just can’t change in life.
