It may be tailgating time, but I like it elegant.

As a veteran traveler (or maybe just an amateur stumbling from country to country) I love checking out restaurants, theater and sporting events wherever I go. There’s nothing like sitting in a box watching a great game. Well, unless it’s being invited to a fabulous event at one of the stadiums that include incredible private dinners provided by the hospitality and catering at the venue. It used to be that the ONLY way that I could get Mr. S to a game was to be assured that we were in a box with first class service. We haven’t been in a very long time (since moving to Florida), and I have a feeling it’s because once again…it’s first class or not at all for him.

Me? I’m not a big sports fan and the ONLY way that you get me there is to provide me with award winning food, great wine and chefs that have been recruited from around the world. SNOB? Maybe, but a girl has to have standards, and mine just happens to be the BEST. Of course, I might be swayed by cute guys in shorts kicking a soccer ball around at Manchester United). Told you…I have standards 🙂 Then again, I can get ALL of that at Man Stadium… a fun night, top notch hospitality and catering, and some eye candy to boot.

This is a great option not only for corporations, but also for a romantic evening in an exclusive suite or with a few friends who’ve split one of the executive boxes. Hmmm…..I’m wondering if I can get Mr. S to travel with me a bit this year? Perhaps if I can promise him a round of golf , some great London theater, and a meet-up with old friends for dinner in an executive box and game of football….

If I can get him to come with me, does anyone have any MUST GO TO PLACES for a guy like Mr. S?
