Afford your Bucket List: twitter chat with Florida prepaid

It seems like yesterday when we were sending Ben to kindergarten for the first time. Now at 34 he’s out of college and has a great career, but he’ll be paying for that education for a very long time. In retrospect, it would have been great to have enrolled in Florida Prepaid, so that he wouldn’t be saddled with all of these bills. While hindsight may be 20/20, I can not look to do this for my future grandchildren, and those of you in Florida with children no longer have to go into panic mode when it comes to your children’s higher education.

With over 300,000 students having already taken advantage of college this way, and 1.6 million Prepaid Plans already sold, the next generation of college students will not have to struggle with the college debt that most of us have known. There is even a DORMITORY plan (which is one of those costs that really adds up).

From one year to four year plans, and various ways to save, you can easily find the plan that fits your budget and the projected future needs of your children. I know that I would have loved to have enrolled Ben in a four year plan WITH dormitory, since that’s what he ended up having to pay for.
