I think you all know by now that whenever I get bored, hungry, mad, happy, bored, bored, bored … I go shopping! And I seem to ignore my finances thinking that my credit cards feel lonely if they are not frequently used. As a result, I have to check by accounts almost daily to see where I am on my non-existent budget! Now, I don’t suggest any of you follow my route, but I do many things to make sure that I don’t blow my financial credit. One of the things that I check constantly are my credit card score, my debt to income ratio and whether I am using the best credit cards with the lowest incomes in sync with my credit card score, and I make sure that I have identity theft protection and good credit monitoring and I want these services for free. We are retired and I might be buying a new house soon, plus I want great credit as I work hard to pay my bills.
Since I am no financial genius, I checked out lots of sites to see which one I wanted to depend on. Many of the credit score sites wanted a credit card on file and I did not want any small lines of print and hidden charges. Then I discovered CreditSesame! And I felt safe. Of course, I checked out every single aspect of CreditSesame to make sure it was legitimate including signing up for MY FREE CREDIT SCORE, FREE CREDIT MONITORING AND FREE IDENTITY THEFT PROTECTION.
JUST THE FACTS MA’AM JUST THE FACTS!!
- CreditSesame Free credit score:
The free score consumers get from Credit Sesame is an Experian National Equivalency Score. The National Equivalency Score is not a FICO score, but unlike some free scores provided by online services, which are educational and often referred to as “FAKO” scores, it is actually commercially available to lenders although not many lenders use it to make lending decisions.[12] The range for the National Equivalency score is 360 to 840; the range for FICO scores is 300 to 850. SesameCredit DOES NOT ASK FOR YOUR CREDIT CARD for secret charges: IT IS TOTALLY FREE without invasive questions!
- Totally free, no credit card required
- Get real-time alerts when changes occur on your accounts
- Easily detect and correct credit reporting errors
- Receive notifications when accounts are opened in your name
WHAT IS CREDIT MONITORING?
Your credit report can change daily, so credit monitoring tracks your credit report and notifies you when something changes. There are more than 35 different triggers for alerts, including balance changes, new accounts opened, late payments, derogatory comments, inquiries and bankruptcy.
WHAT IS IDENTITY THEFT PROTECTION?
And I need this because? True story readers…last year as I was going to work I pulled into a gas station and filled my tank. Five minutes later, I was at my desk at work and luckily decided to pay my store bill. When I ran my ATM card, it declined. I immediately called my bank. Yes, someone had just tried to use my credit card for a $3,000 purchase! My bank took care of everything since it had just happened. But it could have been disastrous, and not many of us want to have our accounts closed by the bank for days on end and have to wait for a new ATM card and file police reports!
I HAVE TO HAVE IDENTITY THEFT PROTECTION!
CreditSesame offers free identity theft protection services to the list. From their website:
CreditSesame’s free offering covers expenses related to identity theft up to $50,000. The free policy could cover out of pocket costs dealing with identity theft as well as lost wages. And from their website, this includes Identity Restoration Assistance
In addition to the free identity theft insurance, Credit Sesame is now providing free identity theft restoration assistance with access to a certified identity theft restoration specialist. In the event you are a victim of identity theft, a certified identity restoration specialist will be there to initiate third-party calls and assist with documentation to help you restore your identity and let you get on with your life.
Now I feel protected and happy! OOOH, I have justenough time to go to Macy’s! Bye Bye!
