Life’s too short to worry about the cost of your mobile plan.
For me, the idea of spending all of my savings on bills was something that I just didn’t want to do. I suppose we each make choices as to what is important in life, and while I can’t imagine life without my mobile phone, when I figured out how much I spent each month it came to enough for a 7-day cruise for Mr. S and I. As a blogger, I NEED a great smartphone and a plan that goes EVERYWHERE with me, but I felt used by my phone service, as my priorities have always been TRAVEL FIRST! I wasn’t sure how Mr. S would take changing plans, but it turned out that my husband felt the same way. We both lamented how we couldn’t spend time doing all of the things we truly care about when all of the money that comes in goes straight to pay bills.
Verizon’s 55 Plus Plan
After having worked with Verizon teaching adults over 55 how to best use their smartphones, I kept wondering if I should switch. Here I was helping people use their phones for more than just making calls and texting, and all the while I kept hearing about this great plan they had for people like me who are over 55. I dug in deeper and learned that not only would I save money when compared to my current plan, but I’d also be getting MORE services….as a matter of fact, I’d be getting UNLIMITED services. With the ability to have two unlimited lines for just $80/month, people over 55 in Florida, Illinois, and Missouri like me can get
- Unlimited 4G LTE data
- Unlimited Talk & Text
- DVD-quality streaming
- Unlimited Mobile Hotspot (600kbps)
- Verizon Up rewards
- Plus Mexico & Canada are included
For Mr. S and I, this change in our bills has meant that we have just enough money each month to start checking off those items on our bucket list that we weren’t previously able to do. Things like having weekly date nights of great concerts, a quality bottle of wine with dinner, and yes, with the money we’ve saved, we’ve also been able to join a country club, something that Mr. S has been wanting to do for a while now. The only regret I have is waiting so long to switch.
Over 55?
Check out the Verizon 55 Plus plan and save NOW, but hurry because this is a limited time offer. The only thing I want to know is….what are you going to do with all of that extra money each month?
