Good Morning! My day doesn’t begin until I do JUST what you see in the video. I’m one of those who just don’t function in the morning without a cup couple of cups of coffee. It’s important to get that caffeine into my system STAT, and while every now and then I enjoy a French Press or an espresso, my day begins with a simple breakfast blend of one of my selection of K-Cups with a packet of stevia added for a little sweetness.
When I say my morning coffee is important I mean
CRITICAL
So, I can’t run out. NEVER, EVER, EVER (or there will be a meltdown of major proportions). Thankfully, Cross Country Café sent me a supply to review and now I know that I can have ALL of my K-Cups delivered right to the mansion from Cross Country Café. Whether I want to mix and max a “build your own box” (great when you’re having a party or Thanksgiving dinner and you have NO IDEA what each guest prefers), or just get my standard morning Joe. Yes, my grocery store carries K-Cups BUT – the variety is limited to about 2-dozen different coffees, and they don’t carry my FAVORITE variety: Wolfgang Puck’s Breakfast in Bed ANYWHERE locally. Thankfully Cross Country Cafe offers that as well as Mr. S’s fave – Diedrich Rio Blend (another coffee that’s IMPOSSIBLE to find here – and I’ve been looking and looking). As you can see, I like to keep a selection of different coffees on hand, because VARIETY IS THE SPICE OF LIFE, and while I’m not a flavored coffee gal, I still enjoy the subtle differences between varietals and blends of coffees. There are times when a bold, smooth Indonesian coffee does the trick, and other times when I’m happy just popping a K-Cup of TEA in my Keurig.
YES TEA, and chai, hot chocolate (if you haven’t tried Café Express DARK chocolate yet, it’s the PERFECT cuddle up by the fire drink), and even apple cider is available. When you order $59 in product, shipping is FREE, so mix it up and get ready for those cold fall and winter days with a nice HOT drink. The fact that the Keurig only takes a push of a button means that whomever happens to want a drink just has to choose their K-Cup and make their own.
Hmmm…does that make me a bad hostess or a smart one?

I use tea and hot cocoa k-cups too. I keep coffee for my guests since I don’t drink it much.

Tara – have you tried the tea or spiced apple cider K-Cups yet? I think I’m going to try the apple ones for Thanksgiving.
