Get a little – give a LOT #itsallgood

My heart aches when I read stories or hear of children going hungry. Watching late night television we are confronted nightly with ads from agencies who help children in countries with lesser means. Throughout the show they ask us to call an 800 number to give. But, what about the children right here in the United States? Why do we turn a blind eye to hunger here in our own backyard? Actor and DAD –  David Arquette has been a long time supporter of Feeding America and has teamed up with Ecomom.com to help.

Did you know that ONE IN FIVE children here in the US receive emergency food assistance each year? 20% of American children need our help and you & I can help.

Ecomom’s Jody Sherman and Emily Blakeney are putting their money where their mouth is by championing the  “It’s All Good”  program. For every purchase made through ecomom.com, the site will donate three healthy, nutritious meals for a day. The goal is to feed at least 100,000 hungry children in the U.S. this year. In my book that’s a win-win situation.

  • You’re doing GOOD for your family, by purchasing and using eco-friendly products.
  • Ecomom.com will donate three healthy, nutritious meals for a day for a child between the ages of 4 and 18 months for your purchase. It doesn’t matter how big or how small your order is!
  • The goal? Feed 100,000 hungry children in the U.S. this year

What can you do to help? Rather than head to the store to buy your eco-friendly products like

  • diapers
  • health & beauty supplies
  • organic baby food
  • baby gear
  • gifts and more

Order them online at ecomom.com – you’ll be giving and getting at the same time.

I love in the picture how happy the mom and child look to be getting this food! This is such an important project and I’m proud to be a part of it!

This is a fantastic cause. I love the picture. We donate to our local food shelf. It’s such an important thing to do to help.
