When I moved from RI to FL I left behind a beloved ice cream parlor: Newport Creamery. Luckily I learned that there is a WORLD of ice cream that I’d never even imagined, including Coldstone Creamery (which just happens to be VERY close to the mansion attached to our local bowling alley). While we enjoy going there for a treat every now and then, there are times that I want those same rich flavors at home, while lounging around in the morning in my slippers in front of the TV.
Thankfully, Coldstone Creamery and International Delights have teamed up for some DELICIOUS flavors that I can enjoy right here at home with flavors like Hot for Cookie™, Founder’s Favorite™ and Churro Caramel.
Ok, my column is called “The Gin Joint,” so when I was asked to pick up some International Delights Coldstone Founder’s Favorite Creamer I figured I should create something fun with it. I don’t normally take creamer in my coffee (I’m a black no sugar type of guy) but I certainly like it in my booze!!!! That’s right, some times when no one is looking I drink a Chocolate Martini or a White Russian. The first thing I had to do was figure out what I would mesh, obviously I would use Vodka and I had a bottle of Caramel Liquor someone left over. Here is what I came up with!

Ingredients
- .5 oz Vodka
- .5 oz Caramel Liquor
- .5 oz International Delights Coldstone Creamery: Founders Favorite Creamer
- 1 scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream slightly melted
Shake with ice and pour into a glass for a tasty post dinner treat (or if you’re like me, you enjoy the shot WITHOUT ice cream and enjoy your scoop on the side).
