Since I’m on this whole healthier living kick, one of the most important things that my fitness coach has talked about is that we all need to drink at least 8 large glasses of water, or 2 liters per day. Water may not be a miracle cure to a hangover but drinking a glass of water before bed, after drinking will help to prevent them. Remember that a glass of wine or other alcohol is very dehydrating. That’s because alcohol is a diuretic; which means you lose more water than you absorb. Your hangover is not usually a result of dehydration but being dehydrated will increase the likelihood of thirst, tiredness and headaches.

Having kidney stones is a painful experience. They are the result of minerals collecting in your body and clumping inside your kidneys. When they are small they can pass through the kidney; although they will be painful. Larger ones cannot be passed and need surgical intervention.
