My cousin and I have been using that expression since we were kids.
YOU STINK GOOD
What it’s meant over the years
- You smell AWESOME
- I love your perfume
- Where are you hiding the bottle?
- I’m stealing it, so don’t expect to go to your usual perfume hiding spot and find it tomorrow
Which is why
I hide my “good” fragrance.
So….what’s hidden now?
Calm Organic Perfumes by Acorelle. Once upon a time I had to travel to France to pick up these delicious organic fragrances, but not anymore. I used to sneak into Monoprix to grab a few things including Acorelle products (as well as my favorite Le Petit Marseillais soap, some bio yogurt in the glass bottles, etc.). It’s incredible what you can pick up in a French grocery/clothing store. But, finding the same items at home has been near impossible.
I learned last year that Baudelaire Soaps was now carrying these beautiful perfumes. One of the things that Acorelle does extremely well, is to offer a trio of scents in kits that seem to fit together perfectly. I love my Calm trio, especially the Lotus Dream (which is almost gone at this writing). I love that all three of the fragrances bring out different calming aspects from the soothing and restorative Lotus Dream, to the calm and relaxing Divine Orchid, and the naturally restful Citrus Infusion. Also available are Balance and Renew trios.
Also in my (I’m not telling where) hiding space
Fleur de Vanille by Acorelle (do you see a trend here)?
The scent of a woman…VANILLA BLOSSOM. Using the essential oils of Peru balsam and patchouli, this vanilla perfume has a comforting scent that is a step above the “usual” with it’s 100% natural formula. You see ALL of Acorelle’s fragrances have no fixatives, preservatives or synthetic fragrances. These are the PURE complex scents that you crave in a fine French perfume.
If you really care
I love that Acorelle is true to their beliefs. You won’t find them using animal or synthetic ingredients in their fragrances, and even the base comes from alcohol made from organically grown wheat.
My goal this year is to find items that are REALLY Champagne Living worthy. Now that I can get my Acorelle perfumes from Baudelaire Soaps in the US, I can add these to my preferred perfume list to recommend. Priced extremely reasonably from $15 for a roll on to $55 for a large 1.7oz bottle.
- Acorelle perfumes are now available at Baudelaire Soaps
