At last count there were more than 2 MILLION (yup, million) blogs out there and the numbers are growing DAILY. With new blogs popping up daily, you’d never get through even a minute portion of them in your lifetime.
Finding a NEW blog that is fresh and has a VOICE that I want to read is even more difficult to find. ALLTOP keeps a running list of ALL THE TOP blogs (and yes Champagne Living is listed in a COUPLE of categories), but the list is limited and there are many more that never come across Guy Kawasaki’s desk I’m sure. PLUS, BLOGGING is so PERSONAL. You may be looking for a MOMMY BLOG, while I might be looking for blogs that relate more to the MID-LIFER that I am.
Which 
leads me to this wonderful blog that I found today. Well, maybe WONDERFUL isn’t the word that I was looking for. Honest, fresh and funny – yes, that’s it. It is out of my comfort zone – a MOMMY BLOG (I’m the mommy of a 25 year old, who doesn’t call me “mommy”, instead using my first name “Zippy” as though we were long time friends). Well, no – it’s not REALLY a mommy blog – it’s an UN- MOMMY blog. It really is. It’s called The Un-Mom and it’s written in a comic (book), hit ‘em where it hurts most, funny style.
Luckily, I have the look back and laugh perspective. I’m loving that it’s NOT ME going through the toddler years again (that’s what grandchildren are for). But, I still remember and it brings back those funny, outrageous moments and emotions that we go through as parents.
Anyway, I thought I’d introduce you to this clever perspective on parenthood. I hope that you enjoy it as well.
