I’m sitting here in South Florida in late March. It’s 55 degrees in the mid-day sun today with a forcasted high in the 90s later this week. So is spring. It’s a transitioning of weather, events, clothes and yes, even your beauty routine. Whether you’re a baby boomer or a modern mom on-the-go, there are plenty of new beauty products this season that will leave you feeling refreshed and looking fabulous. With exciting advancements in skincare technology and more natural products available than ever before, it can be hard to decide which ones to try first – so let us make life easier for you with our top recommendations for spring beauty products you’ll want this year.
I love to experiment and play with products, colors, etc. There are days that I might spend in front of the bathroom vanity for hours. The first thing that I do is hop into the shower and start with a clean face and body, dry off and put on my favorite spa day, beach day and pool day item.
The Spa Dress
I have had my pink Spa Dress for over 5 years and it looks as good today as the day I got it. I love that The Spa Dress® rolls up, is easily packable in the tiniest of getaway bags, and is great for at home or in-person spa days (yes, I bring it to the spa with me when I go for treatments) and it’s my go-to bathing suit coverup as well.
- A Body-Enhancing Cover-Up Wearable UNDER resort robes. Cotton-blend 80-20% spandex adapts to curves. Stretchy top provides light support.
- A Slip-On Towel Soft, lush terry locks in moisture. Doesn’t fall when you need a towel to stay up. Reduces public displays of ‘towel dropping syndrome.’
- A Dress-Before-You-Dress Text message and primp as you wear. Comfy walk-around attire. Dries as you dress. Leaves hands free for everyday errands.
- A Sundress or Skirt Practical for the sauna but wearable on the beach, by the pool or anywhere your spa excursion takes you, at home or away.
You’ll want one in every color (white, pink, black, blue, green, red and yellow).
- Sizes: Small, Medium & Large

Honey Botanics
“Dealing with skin issues is never fun, and conditions like eczema can be stressful. But, learning how to treat it can make a huge difference. Severe cases of eczema will require prescription treatments, but many of us with eczema-prone skin can get by with over-the-counter products filled with emollient, humectant ingredients to rehydrate and restore the dry, cracked skin caused by eczema. Honey Botanics products contain ingredients that help to hydrate, nourish, and soothe my skin. They’re perfect for anyone, especially for sensitive skin conditions like eczema.” – Dana Sellers, Honey Botanics Spokesperson.
If you’ve been living up north, where the cold weather takes it’s toll on your skin, or spend a lot of time indoors down South, where air conditioners dry your skin as well, you know that using just any old soap on your skin can make matters even worse. Enter Honey Organics, the organic and handmade skincare line made in Harlem, NY that tackles each of these persistent skincare issues with its collection of soaps, creams, and accessories.
- Kojic Acid Body Soap – tackles hyperpigmentation and scarring
- Eczema Body Soap – protects and nourishes the skin from drying and relieves eczema-prone skin from itch
- Detox Body Bar – detoxes, nourishes, and clarifies skin
- Glutathione Body Soap – glow, regenerate & nourish Skin
- Konjac Face Sponge – exfoliates meets cleansing sponge for a refreshed face
I use the Kojic Acid Body Soap as well as the Melasma soap because not only is my skin dry, but I am riddled with hyperpigmentation from sun damage and aging. Whatever your skin condition, there’s a Honey Botanics soap for you.

WarmDerm
I have been putting off going to the MedSpa for AGES and it shows! Little did I know (until very recently) that I don’t have to shell out . I could be doing it all at home on MY time with the WarmDerm Professional HomeMedical Aesthetic Anti-aging Experts!
As we get older, we go through getting married and having kids, we find that wrinkles start to appear on the face and eyes, and stretch marks or weight loss wrinkles appear on the belly due to pregnancy. We realize that youth is a thing of the past and we start to feel anxious about our looks and body! It’s time to release all of that stress and DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT with the same technology that you get at your MedSpa, now in a portable beauty salon new upgrade version.
What WarmDerm does
- Softens fine lines and reduce wrinkles
- Firms & lifts the skin to reducing sagging
- Brightens skin tone, rejuvenates skin, and lightens dark spots
- Reduces those dark circles and puffiness
- Reduces skin stretch marks and cellulite
The WarmDerm provides facial skincare in the convenience and comfort of your own home unliking salon which require on-going payments and appointments. Plus, most clients experience noticeable results after one use. They say that using Warmderm regularly effectively postpones the signs of aging and rejuvenates.

I love playing with cosmetics. The truth is, I’m not really good at them. Why? Because I used to do stage makeup and as a result I have a heavy hand (that’s why my photos and when I’m on the show, I look much better than I do in real life). That means that playing around with colors to find what is subtle enough for daytime or dramatic at night is so important for me. Oh, and then there’s the FUN FACTOR.
Mora Cosmetics
One of the ways that I keep it easy for myself is by using a product that multi-tasks like Mora Cosmetics Satin Sheen Multistick. Not only do I know that my face colors coordinate, but I also only have to drop the Mora Sheen Multistick in my purse and nothing else. It’s like having your entire cosmetic case in a stick (minus the mascara).
Mora Cosmetics is a Muslim-woman-owned halal, vegan beauty brand (meaning nontoxic, alcohol-free and without animal by-products). Mora honors Co-founder Minara El-Rahman’s Muslim heritage and ethical values along with North Indian/Sikh Co-founder Jasmine Dayal’s passion for environmentalism. The Satin Sheen Multistick is available in three shades (Jessie’s Girl, Minxy and Hyped) and formulated with cocoa seed butter, sunflower seed oil, and candelilla wax. The natural ingredients and small size makes Mora’s multistick the perfect nourishing travel piece for features of the face from lips to cheek.
I wear Minxy for day and Hyped at night (for a little more glam).
