When I was first approached to write about recycling Poise® Thin-Shape pads I stopped…and re-read, then read the request a third time.
THEY WANT ME TO DO WHAT?
Yes, they want me to do a craft recycling period pads. Thankfully, as I continued to read the request, it turned out to sound like a pretty fun (or at least funny) challenge. Take a box of period pads, the ones that I’ve been using for my LBL and use them in a craft project. Post-menopausal me thought it was actually a great idea, considering my use for them is the remedy for a good belly laugh, but they just aren’t thin and comfortable.
Hmmm….
What could I do with a box of period pads? I live in Florida and have NO winter clothes, they’d make a great pair of ear muffs. All I have to do is line them inside a favorite scarf..at ear level, tie and VOILA – my ears will stay warm.
I could stuff a small pillow with them, but they are so THIN and absorbent, that I honestly think it might take 50 boxes to stuff one small pillow, only to have Clem grab it, run around the mansion and pull out the stuffing. Well, THAT’S not a good idea, because he only does that when we have guests.
FINALLY I CAME UP WITH AN IDEA
Its almost Halloween and Clem has no costume. So…here’s my little angel
There’s just ONE problem
What am I supposed to use for my light bladder leakage, if I’ve used up all of my pads as shoulder pads?
The Solution
Head to Poise for a FREE SAMPLE and then take your old period pads and make something FABULOUS with them.

They make great seed beds for growing your own cress. There is a shop in town here that has it growing in the shop window. You wouldn’t know if you didn’t look really closely’

Honestly, I knew that the entire project was ridiculous…so I just went with even MORE ridiculous.

OMG…I still have some left in the box (and have no use for them). LOL…I’m going to try starting seeds.
