I KNOW what it’s like to turn 50

and while those of you on the younger side of 35 may think that’s OLD – most of us in this age bracket are JUST GETTING STARTED.  From 50 on it’s a non-stop celebration of life and it’s not just ME who’s celebrating.

This year Radisson hits that SWEET number and is celebrating

50 Years, 50 Days, 50 Rooms

and I’m right there with them!  Looking back I’ve realized just how MUCH celebrating I’ve done with Radisson over the years. Particularly at my FAVORITE hotel when visiting back home – the Radisson Hotel by the Providence airport. It’s where I’ve stayed when visiting my family, when celebrating graduations, weddings and birthdays. It’s around the corner from where I lived at one point, and it always feels like I’m BACK HOME when I’m there. It was one of the FIRST GREEN hotels that I ever stayed in!

It doesn’t hurt that it’s restaurant is staffed by the nearby Johnson & Wales culinary students – so the food is some of the BEST IN TOWN!

 Fun Fact: Carlson acquired its first Radisson® hotel in downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1962. Today, Radisson has grown to over 400 properties globally with a hope to grow to 600 by 2015.

Needless to say, I’m excited to be a part of Radisson’s OFFICIAL birthday celebration .

  5. A nice beautiful location would be great. I am sure there is a very nice Radisson in a location I have never been to. This sounds like a great opportunity to see something different.

  8. I was planning to travel to N. Michigan for my best friend’s birthday, so this would be perfect if we want to stay out late @ a club and not have to drive all the way home after. Thanks for the opportunity 🙂

  10. I’d love to stay in a Radisson! I’ve only ever stayed in hostels and couchsurfed when traveling.

  12. A place I can take my wife for a nice overnight getaway – San Diego or Santa Barbara. She’s worked diligently to take care of our family, now it’s her turn!

  15. Anyway, I love how spectacular the room is. I think it would be fascinating to just stay in the room with my love one for a night.

  16. I always loved the Radisson in Burlington Vermont. Anywhere in vermont would be fun but radisson is always a great place to stay anywhere they are.

  18. I would take my granddaughter to the Wild Animal Park and stay overnight at the Radisson in Rancho Bernardo near the park.

  20. THE BEST PLACE TO STAY IS RADISSON BUENA PARK NEAR KNOTT’S IAM HAPPY THATS WHY THIS IN BIG LETTERS THEY HAVE A POOL AND WATER WORKS MY GRAND KIDS LOVE IT

  25. Maybe Orlando..would love to take my girls there when it cools down a bit and enjoy the nice weather..but basically, anywhere would be nice and I would be forever and eternally thankful! 🙂
