I KNOW what it’s like to turn 50
and while those of you on the younger side of 35 may think that’s OLD – most of us in this age bracket are JUST GETTING STARTED. From 50 on it’s a non-stop celebration of life and it’s not just ME who’s celebrating.
This year Radisson hits that SWEET number and is celebrating
50 Years, 50 Days, 50 Rooms
and I’m right there with them! Looking back I’ve realized just how MUCH celebrating I’ve done with Radisson over the years. Particularly at my FAVORITE hotel when visiting back home – the Radisson Hotel by the Providence airport. It’s where I’ve stayed when visiting my family, when celebrating graduations, weddings and birthdays. It’s around the corner from where I lived at one point, and it always feels like I’m BACK HOME when I’m there. It was one of the FIRST GREEN hotels that I ever stayed in!
It doesn’t hurt that it’s restaurant is staffed by the nearby Johnson & Wales culinary students – so the food is some of the BEST IN TOWN!
Fun Fact: Carlson acquired its first Radisson® hotel in downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1962. Today, Radisson has grown to over 400 properties globally with a hope to grow to 600 by 2015.
Needless to say, I’m excited to be a part of Radisson’s OFFICIAL birthday celebration .
