Race Trac Freefill

When “Hal” my hybrid is low on gas, there are a few gas stations that I tend to go to. I have to admit, that before this week, I had never visited a Race Trac to get gas or to use the convenience store inside. It’s probably because there are stations that are a LOT closer, but now when I’m out and about traveling  I have a REASON to stop at Race Trac.

They have this VERY cool summer promotion going on.

First I have to tell you that…

1. The heat index here in South Florida has been OVER 100 degrees for weeks now

2. I ALWAYS have a drink in hand

3. When I’m on the road, I stop often to get something cold to drink (must stay hydrated)

Race Trac’s new summer promotion is PERFECT for people like  you and I who are constantly on the go and need to stop to get a cold drink during the summer. The other day, I went in and bought a BIG plastic Freefill cup for $6.99. $6.99? I know that sounds like a LOT of money for a cup, but wait until you hear just WHAT you get WITH that cup.


FREE REFILLS of ANY soft drink for the ENTIRE summer. If you’re like ME and you stop in once or more per day – WOW – that’s a BARGAIN for me (don’t know how they’re going to stay in business if you’re like I am).

It’s funny, but when I bought the cup I asked the attendant at the register what I have to do when I want a refill. He said that everyone who’s bought them simply HOLDS the cup in the AIR to show them and walks to the fountain and gets their drink. There’s no need to head for the register. PLUS, I was amazed at the selection of fountain drinks that Race Trac offers. I don’t think that I’ve seen so many varieties in one place before.
