I never get headaches. Let me rephrase that. I never get headaches that are NOT related to my sinuses, so when the first signs of pounding begins, I reach directly for Sudafed, even BEFORE a pain reliever. 90% of the time it’s all that I need to open my sinuses. If I let it go, my teeth begin to ache and I’m NOT a happy camper.
It is my weak spot.
Some people get back aches, some get belly aches, I get sinus blockage that makes me miserable. It rarely ever even progresses to having a cold, at least if I catch it early enough with my little red pills.
Sudafed knows that it’s not just me that wants to open my sinuses.
To put a little fun, in a not-so-much fun feeling, they’ve created the Sudafed OPEN UP™ App on Facebook. They want YOU to show others JUST what it feels like when you have sinus pain, pressure and congestion with a FUN and easy to use App, along with conversation. I had a BLAST creating the way my head feels when my sinuses get blocked. It’s easy and fun!
1. Like the Sudafed Facebook page
2. Prepare to OPEN UP™ and share how YOU feel with fun add-ons and writing utensils
3. Submit your photo
4. Chat with others about how YOU feel when sinus pressure hits and what to do to help (HINT: Sudafed is MY go to)
5. You’ll be entered to win $5,000 and have YOUR picture featured in a Sudafed advertising campaign!!!!!
Like a ton of bricks
I don’t know about you, but that’s JUST how I feel. Like I just got hit with a ton of bricks….all between my eyes and along my jawline (that’s where I feel the pressure the most).
On the flip side
There’s nothing like the feeling of my sinuses opening up and draining. Yes, I need a box of tissues nearby, but I can work again, and I’m not cranky-Zippy anymore. Bye bye bricks, hello fun.
Sudafed knows that suffering from sinus pressure and pain can leave individuals feeling crushed, beat down, congested and even squeezed, desperately looking for a way to open up. Serious sinus sufferers are invited to creatively share how their sinus pain and pressure looks and feels to them by using Sudafed’s OPEN UP™ application on Facebook.
Then, beginning on December 2, the Sudafed Facebook community will vote for one of five finalist sketches that best illustrates the pains of sinus pressure. The winner will receive $5,000 and a chance to have their work included in a Sudafed advertising campaign. For more information, visit the Sudafed Facebook page.
