This is in the WHAT WILL THEY THINK OF NEXT category.
According to an article that I just read in Smarter Travel –
Japan’s All Nippon Airways wants passengers to use the bathroom before boarding, on the premise that ditching all that weight will make the plane more efficient.
But as if that wasn’t weird enough, the airline will post “loo attendants” who will (gently, I’m sure) encourage people to use the restroom at the gate. Now there’s a conversation I’d like to hear: “Excuse me, madam, but I couldn’t help noticing you look like you may need to pee.”
They’re giving this a four week trial run, but it’s already an airline POLICY.
What could possible be next? Oh – I DON’T want to know.
