Mom Corps You

I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting (#MC) for Mom Corps YOU. I received a free trial to facilitate my review and a promotional item as a thank you for participating.

About ten years ago (give or take a few months), Mr. S and I packed up and moved from Rhode Island to South Florida with no jobs, no permanent home, and nothing to really DO. We had sold our home and EVERYTHING that we owned, packed up the Durango and drove south to my dad’s winter condo in the late spring. Mr. S had retired and I had been injured in an accident and could no longer work at my job. We had nothing to lose.

Mr. S was content to play golf all day and go out to dinner at the many restaurants in the Palm Beach area where we were staying.

Me? Not so much

1. I get bored easily, so I need to work.

2. Those golf courses that Mr. S wanted to play were $$$$

3. The two of us with nothing to do would = TROUBLE…too much “together” time

4. I wanted to meet new people

Had Mom Corps YOU been around back then, life would have been SO much easier. You know the story, I began blogging and Champagne Living was born, but the reality is that if I had the option of counseling, webinars, and groups on Mom Corps YOU, my life may have taken a TOTALLY different turn. I was searching for something to do, something new where my management skills would have value.

Truthfully, I could have used the help to create a new resume (and I’m redoing mine NOW with the help of Mom Corps YOU), as well as the balancing work/home life piece. I also noticed there was a piece on FLEXIBLE work schedules, which sounds IDEAL for those with kids at home. With community support (there are others going through the EXACT same thing as you are), to eBooks and events with leaders in the field, Mom Corps YOU is a great resource for women whether we’re looking for a part time job, or are trying to figure out how to advance your career and balance your home life.

Mom Corps, a national award-winning professional talent acquisition and career development firm, has launchedMom Corps YOU, an online community to help professionals better integrate their professional and personal lives. Mom Corps believes that work-life satisfaction is best achieved when you can take ownership of several key areas of your life, including career, finances and health & wellness, and this subscription-based community provides education, resources and tools to help you do just that.

DETAILS

Mom Corps YOU is available via an online subscription for an introductory annual price of $99.99 (regularly $149.99) or $19.99 a month at MomCorpsYOU.com
