Buzz

Looking forward to 2011 on the celebrity front.

You’ll be heading out to parties this week (and next) and there will be a LOT of chatter about what’s doing in the world around us. We’re talking COCKTAIL PARTY CHATTER – so keep it light and fun. Here are some up and coming celebrity doings…so you’ll be “in the know” if Paris H. starts a conversation with you.

NEW YORK - NOVEMBER 11: Actor Paul Ruebens in character as 'Pee-Wee Herman' attends the Broadway opening night after party of The Pee-Wee Herman Show at Bryant Park Grill on November 11, 2010 in New York City. (Photo by Neilson Barnard/Getty Images)

1. Pee-Wee Hermann is heading BACK to television. After making a comeback on the live stage, including a limited engagement on  Broadway, Paul Reubens will be back on the small screen – this time the special will be aired on HBO.

LOS ANGELES, CA - DECEMBER 05: DJ Pauly D performs at the KIIS FM's Jingle Ball 2010 on December 5, 2010 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Noel Vasquez/Getty Images)

2. Speaking of new shows, here’s one I plan on MISSING. If the talk turns to dissing a show – you’ll want to know that MTV is in development with Jersey Shore’s own Pauly D. Pauly is from my “hometown” – Providence, RI and if they’d use him as a DJ, then it might be worth watching…otherwise, it’s a BIG PASS.

FRANKLIN, TN - NOVEMBER 30: Honoree Taylor Swift at the CMT Artists of the Year at The Factory on November 30, 2010 in Franklin, Tennessee. (Photo by Rick Diamond/Getty Images for CMT)

3. Why didn’t Taylor Swift ask Jake Gyllenhaal to her prom? Could it be that she knows he’d feel totally UNCOMFORTABLE going to a high school prom at the age of 30? She claims that she can’t make a decision and is going with a group of friends. What celeb goes stag to her prom?

Stay tuned for more cocktail party chatter soon…
