Outdoor Summer Living Barwon Heads
This weekend began my outdoor spring spruce up. I’ve made a HUGE list of what needs to get done to prepare for six months of living outdoors.
I’m still on the hunt for just the right fixtures to replace those that were here when I bought the house (circa 1980-something). Not only are they UGLY, but I can’t take them apart to put new bulbs in and have been relying on lanterns and my solar lights.

In the evening it’s all about setting the mood (which makes be re-think my plan to put in new fixtures) with well placed lanterns, string lights and candles (I love the LED candles, as I don’t have to worry about anyone knocking them over. I have two large Live Oak trees that are perfect for hanging a few more around the outside of my screened in pool lanai.
Mr. S has been talking about FINALLY getting around to having all of the neighbors, friends and family together for a bash, so I need to finish it up quickly, before the summer heat gets too bad.
