It’s not JUST about golf – PGA National

PGA NationalI’ll be heading out tomorrow for a weekend of pampering, shopping, great dining and of course a little golf at Palm Beach Garden’s beautiful PGA National Resort and Spa.

I’m not much of a duffer. I did take a couple of lessons and probably frustrated too many pros with my inability to swing a club and actually HIT the little ball on the ground, although every now and then (once a year) I’ll join Mr. S at the PGA Learning Center and bang a bucket of balls until I get bored and wander into the pro shop for a little shopping. But, this weekend I’ll be doing a LOT more than just getting out on the links at PGA National.

Whether you play golf of not, there’s so much to do (and I plan on experiencing every last bit of it). From the full service spa (where you can get everything from a mani/pedi to cosmetic procedures with Dr. Frederic  Barr), to shopping excursions on Worth Avenue in Palm Beach, they offer it all. I’ll be dining at the Ironwood Grill, learning mixology at the iBar – and of course frustrating yet another pro at the David Leadbetter golf academy.

While I’ll be there from Friday through Sunday and will return with lots of photos and the 411 about this fun spot. I did notice that they offer a Girl’s Day Out opportunity for only $99.

Back by popular demand, the summer Girl’s Day Out package is now available. Enjoy a day at The Spa for just $99 with this great package that includes:

  • Access all day to the Waters of the World healing mineral pools
  • Lunch at the Waters of the World Cafe’
  • Relaxation area and locker room access
  • Choice of 25 minute Salt Glow Scrub, Neck and Shoulder Massage, Mani – Pedi, or Mini-Facial

Now every time Mr. S says “want to go to the club?” I can say YES!!!!

PGA National Resort and Spa is located at 400 Avenue of the Champions, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33418

Call: 800-633-9150 to make reservations or for more information.
PGA National is sponsoring an all expense paid trip to their spa & resort for me this weekend.  All opinions are my own and you won’t get to hear them until I return from being pampered.
