It’s about looking good naked

This journey has not been an easy one. While my diet is easy to follow, my exercise program is lacking and the extra lumps, bumps, and bulges still exist. Even though I’ve lost mmore than 15 lbs., other than going out for a walk…I’ve been sitting on my behind. My clothes are beginning to fit better (I’m down almost 2 sizes), but I live in Florida – the Sunshine State. The state where wearing a bathing suit in January & February is de rigeur. One look down at my thighs and I want to put on a bloomer suit from the 1920’s rather than a sexy maillot (bikinis are for the young).

So, I’m trying something new. HOT PANTS! I’m not talking about daisy dukes here, I’m talking about a pair of shorts that go UNDER your jeans, dresses, etc. and helps you to SWEAT AWAY CELLULITE. They’re heavy, not terribly attractive (although they are GREAT to exercise in at the gym or when walking with nothing over them), and would NOT look good with heels.  But, they are my new secret weapon against those lumps & bumps.

Under it all

We all have a layer of connective tissue under the skin that has areas of breakage which allows fat cells to come through to the surface (what we unaffectionately call cellulite). Aren’t we the lucky ones? It’s we women who are blessed, as the tissue in men’s dermis is unbroken.

It’s this broken tissue that contributes that “lovely” (sarcasm) appearance of dimples/cellulite. With all of the sitting that we do (at least that I do – since I’m not at the gym), it means lower circulation in the thighs and belly area.

Their Story

Dessi had a problem. She was getting married and had 2 weeks to drop some weight to make sure her slinky wedding dress fitted properly. The pictures were going to be there for all posterity… This problem started the search for a product that would help Dessi her get more out of her time and body. Dessi was looking for a product that was comfortable so she could wear it while being out and about or while doing her regular exercise.

After months of research, Hotpants was born. Dessi was the first guinea pig followed by her mum and sister. The girls dropped a couple of dress sizes in a fortnight* doing exercise about three times per week while wearing HotPants

What I’m doing

I’ve been wearing my Hot Pants under my clothes when I walk, do housework, go shopping…any time I’m doing even a little activity. I can tell you from experience that I sweat like a GUY under them (did you REALLY want to know that?).   I can’t tell you that I’m slim and GORGEOUS…YET, but I was able to get into a pair of seven skinny jeans at Loehmann’s the other day (bought them of course) – something I wasn’t able to do before. I also bought a beautiful cocktail dress for my Disney/Dreamworks event in New York next week and it looks gorgeous (and it even has horizontal stripes).

Check out the results others have had as well – RESULTS.

The 411

So far so good, although they do give new meaning to sweating your a$$ off. If I don’t like something, I stop using it right after I write about it, these I’m going to continue and see if they continue to help.

Details

HotPants are FINALLY available in the states and can be ordered online at Zaggora.com for about $71.00 (cheaper than a gym membership).

* Hot Pants are made by a U.K. company – a fortnight = 2 weeks.
