I truly enjoy my life, but that doesn’t mean it’s always perfect. While exploring new destinations is always fun, spending the day flying, getting run down from lack of sleep (switching time zones wreak havoc on my inner clock) and getting exposed to those who aren’t always feeling their best (like the guy hacking in the seat next to me, or spending time with my friend Eric who had a cold while we were in San Diego) means that I will inevitably get a cold.
I’m usually FINE until I get home and begin the decompression process...then it hits like a ton of bricks. Of course then it runs RAMPANT through the mansion. The only one who WON’T get sick is Clem the mini-bull-terrier. Mr. S will not only catch a cold, but it will last for 6 months (I can’t figure it out, when he gets sick he STAYS sick). Of course Ben will catch it as well and with two guys sick, there’s no time for ME to curl up and take care of myself.
It’s odd, but the guys each seem to need something DIFFERENT. It always affects Mr. S at night, so we keep Vicks NyQuil stored in the medicine chest to help him sleep while controlling his cough and nasal congestion. Ben is a Vicks DayQuil guy. He has a more difficult time dealing with the daytime issues of having a cold, as he tends to be a bit of a work-a-holic and the non-drowsy formula helps him push through his work day whether he’s got a cough, stuffy head, sore throat, fever or has those aches you get when you’re under the weather with a cold. Whichever they need, Vicks seems to have the solution.
As the #1 pharmacist recommended brand for adult cough/cold/flu relief, Vicks DayQuil is there to help you power through the day, and Vicks NyQuil is there to ensure you sleep through the night.
The only thing better is if they’d find a cure for the common cold, that would be nice.
I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom CentralConsulting for Vicks DayQuil & NyQuil. I received product samples and a promotional item as a thank you for participating.
