Fitness: Diet and working out is not enough

At least according to my doctor’s it’s not. Besides my general practitioner, I see a couple of “specialists” who both work in the anti-aging field. One is my bio-identical hormone doctor, who makes sure that I’m feeling my youngest, by adding hormones that have depleted with age. The other is Dr. Pozner, my favorite plastic surgeon, who has given me wonderful information about how to AVOID going under the knife by using some of the newest machines and techniques available in his office.

Both have told me the same thing. That in order to age GRACEFULLY, that I need to be taking supplements. Specifically

  1. A good multi-vitamin – unspecified
  2. Omega-3’s – specifically DHA & EPA – OMG, these pills are huge
  3. DHEA – by prescription
  4. Vitamin D

These are my “basics” for anti-aging, but when I went to Centrum’s Nutrition Possible site to take the “find your balance” test.  Once I got past the fact that I had to push the arrow for what seemed like FOREVER to get to  my age (just another reminder that I’m not 35…LOL). Not so surprisingly, the results showed that I need

  • A multi-vitamin
  • Calcium with Vitamin D
  • Omega-3
  • Phytonutrients
  • Fiber

Neither doctor recommended a brand, so  I was on my own to do the research. The brand that consistently popped up? Centrum. Initially, I was using Centrum for my Multi-Vitamin, but never considered them for my Omega 3’s. As it turns out Centrum makes more than just Multi-Vites, making my search easier. So, now I get my EPA & DHA that the plastic surgeon claims will help keep my skin looking younger, along with probiotics to east my aging tummy and fruit & veggie supplements (because I don’t always get the daily recommended amount that I should”), all bought at my local drugstore (no running to those overpriced supplement stores).

I love that Centrum offers this new line of products that includes Omega-3, Probiotic, and Fruit & Veggie—three supplements that support health and well-being. Each supplement is backed by the nutritional expertise of Centrum, identifying the right ingredients to take consumers’ nutrition to the next level.

New ProNutrients Omega-3 provides two of the most scientifically studied Omega-3s (according to Eicosapentaenoic Acid/EPA and Docosahexaenoic Acid/DHA standards) in an ultra-concentrated MiniGel. Since the MiniGels are smaller than the sizes of most brands’ softgels, they are easy to swallow. They help support heart health, brain structure and eye structure.* The retail value of the 50-unit package is $12.99, and the 100-unit package is $19.99.

ProNutrients Fruit & Veggie each MiniTab of new harnesses the power equal to a serving of a blend of fruits and vegetables. It is 100 percent naturally sourced from grapes, blueberries, raspberries, plums, carrots and tomatoes. Each MiniTab helps support cell protection and general health.* The retail value for the 50-unit package is $11.99, and the 100-unit package is $19.99.

New ProNutrients Probiotic is a unique blended powder containing two of the most scientifically studied probiotics. The individually wrapped packets are designed to ensure the bacteria arrive active and ready to work in the digestive tract. ProNutrients Probiotic helps support immune health and digestive balance.* The retail value for the 14-unit package is $18.99, and the 28-unit package is $29.99.

If you’re taking the time to start your New Year’s goals of getting thinner, fitter and healther, adding Centrum’s newest pro nutrients will help to support all of the hard work you’ve been putting in. To make things sweeter
You can print up a $5.00 off coupon from the Centrum Facebook page!

I am participating in a Centrum ProNutrients campaign hosted by One2One Network. I received nutritional product and compensation. While all opinions stated are my own, I make no claims about Centrum ProNutrients as a product or it’s effectiveness.
