It’s one of those bucket list items
The romance of train travel though the Canadian Rockies. How is it that I’ve been as far as Thailand, but never had the opportunity to rail through the most beautiful mountains in North America?
It all changed last week, as I crossed another experience from my bucket list. It was the inaugural ride of the Rocky Mountaineer’s 25th Anniversary, and I was able to join them for the celebration. With over 1½ million passengers under their belt in the past quarter of a century, I knew that they MUST be doing something right, and I was certain that this would be an experience that I wouldn’t soon forget.
What better way to experience the grandeur of the Pacific Northwest than traversing the countryside…
…and gazing out at the snow capped mountains?
