First Look: MSC Seaside Class

While I was cruising on the MSC Divina last month, I caught wind of the new Seaside Class ships being built. Today, they announced that the first of them will be heading to Miami in November 2017. With the most interactive and originally-designed aqua park at sea, this park offers cruisers five water slides. This is MAJOR family fun. Features of this aqua park include:

Slideboarding™

This has all of the bells and whistles of a traditional waterpak combines with an interactive video game experience. Faced with a two-story, 367 ft slide, you fly down the tube on a sleek ramp that includes a game controller embedded in it. The goal is to match the colors of the strobe lights as you slide through the tube with the colors of the buttons on the raft.

Duelling High-Speed AquaTubes™

Are you a RACE fanatic? Then you’ll love this competitive high-speed slide with 525 ft of crazy twists, turns & drops as you race against others.

AquaPlay™& AquaSpray™

Have young ones who love the thrill of some water fun? Your little one can play in the  AquaPlay™ area complete with tipping buckets, various spray cannons, solid stream jets, a raintree and a mini-slide.

Adventure Trail

Do you love climbing and extreme sports? You’ll love this ropes course that’s connected to the aqua park. You’ll cross between soaring towers, rope bridges, climbs, crawl-throughs and slides, all within water view. Explorers on the trail will need to move quickly though as guests below will be able to use water spray cannons to soak their friends and family.
