Fire up the Grill for The Ultimate Cookout.

Father’s Day + Cookout = Tradition

I’m not one who’s big on the “usual” traditions. Not that we don’t have any, they’re just not like everyone else. But grilling on Father’s Day is a tradition that I can get behind – mostly because I LOVE food cooked outside, I LOVE not having to scrub pans, and I LOVE the fact that I am usually NOT the one to do the actual cooking.

So, in honor of Father’s Day – I will be grilling Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, large slices of peppers and vidalia onions and I’m thinking of doing one of my TRADITIONAL grilled pizza’s for the non-meat eaters. My freezer is already stocked with yummy dogs and burgers from Omaha Steaks Every now and then I treat myself to one of their packages of meat, because I love the quality….this time, they actually sent these to me so that I’d tell you about this FABULOUS CONTEST that they’re running on Facebook.

What:
Nominate a dad who you admire and who has made a difference in your life or in the lives of others.
Submit a short narrative (100 words or less) describing why he is your hero, along with a photo to illustrate.

  49. I would love to win this and fire up the grill in memory of my beloved fiancee, David Kim, who died two years ago due to bile duct cancer. David loved to marinate and grill!!
