I NEED TO KNOW…
Who invented the underwire bra? Why do I want to know? Because I have a torture chamber for HIM (I’m sure it was a HIM) in retaliation.
I WANT TO LOOK GOOD
So, I put up with the wire, the lift, the “effects” of wearing a “good bra.”
WHEN I’M AT HOME
I’m just like YOU (if you’re female – guys don’t understand). When I get home and KNOW that I’m not leaving the house for any reason – the FIRST thing I do, is unhook. Of course, it’s inevitable that 10 minutes after I’ve put on my comfy T that no one will EVER see (other than Mr. S and the dog), it happens. Clem the bull-terrier will need to go for a walk and it’s NOT DARK ENOUGH OUTSIDE to be slinking around like this. So, I have to put put my bra BACK on and go out for a whopping 10 minutes (if I don’t I’d inevitably run into a neighbor who wants to chat).
THE SOLUTION
Barely There has come out with a line of “Cozy Bra’s.” I have one word to describe them…
Ahhhhhhhhh
NO UNDERWIRE and SO COMFY YOU CAN SLEEP in them (or in my case walk the dog in them and not have to worry). They come in sizes to fit just about EVERYONE…
- Extended Smart Sizes XS-XXL; Now up to a 48DD!
- Wickable fabric to keep you cool and comfortable
- Super-soft fabric
- No more trying to guess your right bra size.
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?
Well, for me it means that I don’t have to WAIT until I think that I won’t be leaving the house. I can put on one of these CustomFlex Fit bras that give me an invisible look under that t-shirt I tossed on, and be comfortable and NOT HAVE TO WORRY if I need to run a quick errand, or go outside and chat with a neighbor.
At only 2 for $34 (a BARGAIN), I’ve made room in my lingerie drawer for one in black and one in white (since they come in 2-packs).

I actually don’t think underwires are all that uncomfy. Maybe it’s because it’s all I’ve ever worn.

I had a ‘helpful’ friend in college, who tried to get me to wear underwires. Forget that gar-bahj, is all I can say. I only wear Vanity Fair Body Superior with NO underwire, and if they quit making them, there will be a rebellion. Wires are nothing but trouble.
