Keep your skin calm this autumn.

I thought for sure that by escaping New England for Florida that I had left behind ice and snow, bundling up on winter mornings and dry, chapped skin. While we may only have one or two days of a frost each winter, my body has gotten used to the heat and I will wear warmer clothes when the temperature dips into the 50’s and dry, chapped skin is a year round affair.  For those of you in the north, I know you know that you have no sympathy for me (especially when February rolls around), but I do travel up to New England and New York often.

  • In cooler weather you’ll find me wearing tights with my skirts to protect my legs, and I almost always have a scarf wrapped around my neck. I keep a great pair of leather gloves tucked into my handbag in case the temperatures dips, because there’s nothing as unattractive as dry, chapped, itchy skin.   61. My tweet to Zippoarahs and Eucerin was that I take long warm baths to stay calm. Nothing like a warm (not hot) bath to relax in. Hot dries your skin out and that is why I suggest a warm bath opposed to a hot one.

  62. Eucerin has been my go to for a very long time. I’ve had problems with dry skin and painful small dry spots for several years and using Eucerin (recommended by my dermatologist) has helped! I also try and stay hydrated and although I love a bath–I use a moisturing body wash or oatmeal additive to help with the dry skin. I would love to win this prize package!!!

  63. I will keep November a calm skin month by slathering on the Eucerin to stop the itching and chapped skin and to keep away the “flakies” that come along with wintertime skin. Also I always try to stay out of the cold cold wind, but that’s hard to do when you have a 3 year old boy that will play outside all bundled up no matter what the temp is! I love that little boy! So I need more Eucerin!

  81. tweeted. So hard to keep skin from drying out in the winter months. I try to use creme on my hands every night and when I remember during the daytime. Washing hands frequently really dries them out.
