5 Upgrades You Need For a Comfortable Rig

If spending time outdoors is your biggest source of joy in life, then getting an RV is a great investment to take yourself to every outdoor adventure and location you could dream of. To make sure you get where you want reliably and in comfort, you’re going to want the best for your RV.

While you can technically make good use of an RV right after purchase, it’s fair to say that there could always be room for improvement. This is especially true when you want your trips to be as comfortable as they can possibly be.

Apart from the added comfort and convenience that you’re going to get, upgrading your RV also increases its value. And that’s also after the fact that one of the greatest joys in owning any vehicle is in being able to customize it to your tastes. So, where do you start?

Mattresses

Truth be told, the stock mattresses are uncomfortable. They’re squishy and you can definitely tell that they’re cheap. Even the mattresses found in high-end RVs are less-than-satisfactory. If you’re on the road, you’re going to need quality sleep. Invest in a high-quality RV mattress. These are thinner than mattresses used in residential areas but they are still much better than stock RV mattresses.

Solar Panels

Electricity will always be a major concern for anyone who’s gotten used to modern living. While you can definitely equip your RV with more batteries that have more capacity, solar panels are a much more cost-effective upgrade, especially when you’re planning to go on longer trips.

What’s more is that solar panels actually increase the value of your RV significantly, which can come in handy if you ever need to use your RV in an RV title loan. These RV title loans in California give you some of the best terms you can get from a title loan.

Vent Fans

The stock vent fans in RVs barely move any air around. You might want to rectify this with an upgrade, especially because this is one of the best upgrades you can get. A high-quality vent fan doesn’t just help keep heat out when you’re driving through desert lands, it can also help keep excess moisture out during the cold Winter months.

It’s also useful for removing odors when cooking in the RV, as well as cigarette smoke if you really can’t help but smoke in your RV bathroom.

Remote Headphone Jacks

A huge pet peeve for many people has always been overlapping audio in a room as different people are trying to listen to different things out loud. It feels invasive, inconsiderate, and chaotic to have different audio overlap each other from different sources.

Now, try cramming all that sound into a confined space like that of your RV and watch as your sanity melts away with each passing second.

Remote headphone jacks ensure that you’re all able to enjoy your own little space without depriving one another of privacy and comfort. Seriously. Get these.

1 kilowatt Pure Sine Wave Inverter

If you have equipment that uses a lot of power, like say, maybe a 52-inch TV or an iMac, then you’re going to want to have one of these installed on your RV. A pure sine wave inverter doesn’t just provide power when you’re off-grid, but it also acts as an added layer of protection when you’re connected to a campsite AC power, which is known to have frequent power surges and power interruptions.

Having these things in your RV will surely make things comfortable. Take your RV somewhere with a great view, grab a glass of bubbly and enjoy.
