Bobbi Brown visits Miami

Bobbi Brown Zippy SandlerLast week I had the pleasure of meeting Bobbi Brown, the makeup artist that changed the face of American women everywhere by allowing us to look our BEST and still look natural. She was visiting Macy’s at the Dadeland Mall in Miami, FL to announce her partnership with Dress for Success. Arriving with a massive team of makeup artists that spent the good part of the day helping South Florida women celebrate their individuality while learning to apply her fabulous cosmetics, she charmed the crowd with her understated elegance and down to earth manner.

Her alliance with Dress for Success will allow funds to be raised to help even more disadvantaged women get the business clothing that they need in order to go out and find jobs that will lead to their success.. This is an amazing cause and there’s nothing that I like more than seeing companies who give back. I, like many shoppers spend not only from our wallets, but from our hearts, and as a result I will choose a cosmetic like Bobbi Brown’s knowing that my $$$ will help as well.

While I only had a minute or two to spend with her personally, she said something to Victoria of the Academy of Glam and my bestie Jewel of Jewels Fab Life that really struck a cord. She said that in order to be successful in business that you must have these P’s

  • You must be Passionate
  • Present
  • and Patient

I’d say THAT was worth the price of admission.

She’s very funny and down to earth…but, you can see that in her makeup philosophy as well. I would have liked to have spent more time with her as she’s very interesting.

She was a sweetheart. Watch in the next week or 2, as I’ll be meeting fashion designer Rachel Roy!

I’m genuinely loving the theme/design of your site. Do you ever run into any browser compatibility complications? Several of my weblog visitors have complained about my web-site not operating correctly in Explorer but appears wonderful in Chrome. Do you have any recommendations to help fix this problem?
