What’s your homestyle?

I’m sitting here in the living room, taking in the rooms that I can see from my spot on the sofa here at the mansion. Looking around, I am trying to figure out exactly what I’d call my “style.” Whether it be the way that I dress or the way that I decorate, I’d probably say that I’m pretty eclectic. I tend to get bored by just one style, and love mixing and matching the unexpected.

I have a mix of both modern furniture, antiques, kitsch and even classic Maine bead board furniture, but somehow it all works. The important thing is that I surround myself with things that make me happy. That’s the KEY to Champagne Living. It’s NOT about spending a fortune, or doing something that you think you’re “supposed” to do. It’s about surrounding yourself with things and having experiences that enrich your life, make you smile, and comfort you.

So….What’s YOUR style?

I really like the bookcase and the pictures on the wall above it! I also mix styles.

I did that on "the cheap" – those are 3 $15 bookcases from Target pushed together and the 3 pictures are framed greeting cards with British and Irish house numbers that I found at Ikea.
