I am not a creative bartender! There I said it. But, I am ad adventurous drinker (someone’s got to do all of that tasting and trying). I rely on some of my favorite handouts in South Florida for creative and YES…DELICIOUS cocktails. It’s not secret that I love a good mimosa, and I’ve had the standard orange juice mimosa and caribbean-style mango mimosa, but if you’re a local, or you’ve traveled to Fort Lauderdale you KNOW that the Sonesta Fort Lauderdale Beach is known for its popular Cocktails of the Month.
The Ciroc Apple Mimosa comes complete with a sweet slice of apple.
This month the hotel is offering a unique twist to the traditional mimosa. With the hotel’s Ciroc Apple Mimosa, guests and locals can celebrate a brunch-themed cocktail at any point in the day. After a mimosa or two, guests can relax the day away by the pool or on the Atlantic Beach, located just steps away from the hotel.

Ingredients:
- 1-ounce Ciroc Apple vodka
- .25-ounce St Germain
- 4 ounces of sparkling wine
Directions:
- Combine in a champagne flute and garnish with a green apple wedge.
Of course, it always tastes better when I’m sitting at the bar at the Sonesta.
