TLC’S “WHAT NOT TO WEAR” SEARCHES FOR THE WORST DRESSED AMERICAN

In celebration of its 250th episode, TLC’s WHAT NOT TO WEAR is going on a nationwide search for the Worst Dressed American. For the very first time in the history of the show, viewers will be in charge of nominating the worst fashion victim ever. That’s right, it’s not just about being poorly attired – it’s about being a VICTIM. You know, someone who when mini-skirts are “in” has the shortest one they make (and wears it with 5″ heels).

Similar to a WHAT NOT TO WEAR episode, Stacy and Clinton will visit the chosen victim’s hometown and interview her loved ones. But you can expect the ambush to be on a much grander scale and a makeover like no other, the overall transformation for this victim will be the most dramatic one viewers have ever seen on the show.

WHAT NOT TO WEAR will mark this very special milestone in January 2010.

TLC is still accepting nominations. You can nominate yourself (GASP) or a friend who needs H-E-L-P!!

The deadline is coming up quickly – September 25. So if you know a poor soul who you think is the worst fashion victim ever, go nominate them NOW!

If it’s YOU who is a victim of a MAJOR fashion crime, then get a video together of YOURSELF and submit it online quickly as well.
