How Yeedi Mop Station Pro Maps Your Floors
The yeedi Mop Station Pro uses laser navigation to map your floors. It uses a combination of laser, optical, and sonic sensors to detect obstacles and create a map of the area it is cleaning. The map is stored in the robot’s onboard computer and is used to plan its cleaning route, so it can avoid furniture, edges, and other obstacles. Yeedi Vacuum Mode
Yeedi vacuum mode is a feature that allows users to choose from three different cleaning modes. The modes are:

- Edge Clean – This mode is designed for cleaning around furniture and other obstacles. The vacuum will move in a back-and-forth pattern along the edges of the room.
- Auto Clean – This mode is designed for general cleaning of the entire room. The vacuum will move in a zig-zag pattern across the room, ensuring maximum coverage.

The Yeedi Mopping Mode
Yeedi mopping mode is a feature found on select robotic vacuum models. It allows the device to switch from vacuuming to mopping mode, allowing it to clean hard floors and other surfaces. The device is equipped with a water tank and two microfiber cloth pads that are used to mop (they self-clean when back at the station and there is a second set for when you want to give them a real good washing). Baby the bull-terrier and yeedi
This wouldn’t be a complete post without addressing the elephant…or DOG in the room. Dogs and vacuums are by nature enemies. When given the option in the app to name my new robot, we chose the name SATAN, not because the vacuum is bad, but because the dog sees it as sinister. That being said, the noise level of the yeedi doesn’t seem to bother her as much as my regular vacuum does. Oh yes, she moves out of the way when she sees it coming, but she doesn’t attack it or run in fear. They have learned to co-exist which means that I have a clean house without having to separate dog from machine.
