I am not a Disney person. There I said it.
If I were given the opportunity to vacation anywhere, Walt Disney World would be the last on my list. There was that one time that Mr. S. and I took the dog and went camping at Fort Wilderness. That was a lot of fun, but we never stepped foot into the theme parks. Maybe I just don’t like amusement parks, theme parks, rides, etc. But, that might change because…there’s a new LUXURY resort with a fabulous hotel set to open soon that has made my “must visit” list.
The Conrad Orlando
The Conrad Orlando at Evermore Resort, nestled in the heart of Orlando, offers a lavish escape for those seeking luxury without the typical theme park experience. As a grandparent, this is the perfect blend of sophistication and tranquility, set away from the bustling theme parks but still close enough for those who wish to visit (like our grandchildren).
The new Conrad Orlando boasts elegant rooms and suites, providing a serene and comfortable environment. The decor is modern and stylish, catering to the refined tastes of adults who feel that a vacation should be an escape from their “regular” lives. Guests can enjoy a variety of dining options, from gourmet meals to casual bites, ensuring a delightful culinary journey.
Evermore Resort
The Evermore Orlando Resort presents a diverse range of new accommodations, including stylish flats, villas, and vacation houses with up to 11 bedrooms, alongside the luxurious Conrad Orlando hotel. Each vacation house boasts amenities like gourmet kitchens, private salt-water pools, laundry facilities, ample parking, and 24-hour security. Evermore Bay, the resort’s stunning 20-acre tropical lagoon is perfect for relaxation and leisure. The area features a crystal-clear lagoon, children’s activities, and beachside dining. With 12 unique dining and drinking venues, food options range from casual to upscale and include everything from a kid-friendly Food Hall to romantic dining for the two of you. Additional conveniences include food delivery, cleaning services, and an accessible resort shuttle, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
For golf lovers like my husband, the resort includes a Nicklaus-designed 36-hole golf course, offering a world-class golfing experience.
In addition, the resort is strategically located near Orlando’s famous attractions, providing the flexibility to explore them at your leisure. However, its array of amenities and serene environment also make it an ideal destination for those who prefer to stay within the resort and enjoy a peaceful retreat.
The Conrad Orlando at Evermore Resort is now taking reservations, so I’m sure that you’ll see me reporting about this exquisite destination soon. I predict that it will be a nice option for seniors and baby boomers looking for a luxurious, peaceful vacation experience in Orlando, with or without the theme park visits.
