Summer rains + dog + Air Wick =

The rainy season + a miniature bull-terrier = a STINKY MANSION

While those of you up north are enjoying beautiful beach weather, South Florida has turned HOT and WET. Our summers are full of rainy days with humidity following. You can cut the air with a knife. While I’d rather stay in the air conditioning, Clem the dog LOVES the heat and wants nothing more than going out. Those who have pets understand what it’s like to have a wet dog in the house. Especially a terrier, who loves to roll around in whatever “smells” – bringing those not-so-lovely scents back into the mansion.

My only recourse is:

1. To CONSTANTLY be bathing him

2. To freshen the air in the mansion

Thankfully I was sent some scented oils and a scented candle from Air Wick’s new National Parks Collection to review…JUST in the nick of time.

The National Parks limited edition collection was crafted by fragrance experts who spend countless hours creating the perfect harmony of fragrance notes representative of the natural elements found in these national parks and pays homage to the  brand’s  “The  Craft  of  Fragrance”  creative platform.

So, while I’m stuck in Florida (or rather in the mansion), I’m breathing in the scent of The Grand Canyon.

THE GRAND CANYON?

YES! Thanks to Air Wick Scented Oil’s National Park limited edition fragrances I’m bringing the GOOD scent of the outdoors inside with wonderful smells like

  • Denali – offering the mix of soft cotton grass and spring air
  • Hawai’i – with the exotic smells of papaya and hibiscus flowers
  • American Samoa – tropical coconut and cool island palms
  • Grand canyon – with cactus flower and the scent of a warm breeze
  • and more

The collection of scents is is inspired by the National Park Foundation parks and each scent evokes an ambiance that is unique to that  parks.  Imagine being inspired by a simple scent.

The collection is available in

  • Scented Oils
  • Scented Candle
  • Reef Diffuser
  • Freshmatic Spray

My favorite?

So far it’s American Samoa, as I love the clean tropical scent, and It makes me want to bath the mansion in white for the summer.

Available in stores NOW, the collection ranges in price from $2.99 – $5.99.

The best part is…no more wet dog smell!

I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Air Wick. I received product samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item as a thank you for participating.

Two peas in a pea pickin pod! I love the American Samoa too! I can almost picture myself in the National Forest until I open my eyes and pinch myself. Then I’m home amid the baby’s potty chair , trash pail and dirty dishes! Great review Zippy! Thank you!
