YIKES! I looked at the calendar this morning, just to see what I had planned for the rest of the week. OK, when did Thanksgiving get so close? It’s only 2 weeks from today, and of course I hadn’t even given it a thought. So, out came the paper and pen for the BIG LIST. I don’t know why we go through this, both of our families are in New England and we just have a quiet dinner (the two of us and the dog). But, it’s Thanksgiving so I made the list.
That done, the second realization hit. It’s 2 weeks and 1 day to BLACK FRIDAY. Now, in all honesty last year I didn’t go to a SINGLE Black Friday Sale. I waited until Cyber-Monday and did a little shopping. There are no little ones left, my son is in his 20’s and the nieces and nephews are all teenagers or older, so buying for them has gotten a lot easier.
I still LOVE to look over the Black Friday ads. You never know, there might be SOMETHING that I can’t live without buying on that ONE DAY. I started looking online for the ads that have already been snuck out. There aren’t as many as there were last year at this time, so you’ll have to go back and check regularly if you’re a Black Friday Mega-Shopper.
Here are my TOP TEN sites for getting a SNEAK PEAK at what’s going to be on sale.
1. Black Friday Central
a nicely laid out, easy to navigate site that has clean, clear images of the actual ads.
2. Black Friday 2008
is MY favorite of all of the sites. I’ve signed up for their mailing list so I don’t miss anything.
3. Black-Friday
is also very well organized and offers the front pages of each of the ads on their front page.
4. Black Friday Ads
has a fun counter, counting down to the second when Black Friday begins.
5. Beat the Crowd
is also listing some Pre-Black Friday ads, with items available right NOW on their front page.
6. BlackFDay
has some product guides on their site for items that may be on sale.
7. ProBargains
has started adding a few of the BF to their bargain site.
8. Black Friday Info
check out their “news” area with 6 news worthy stores listed.
9. Black Friday Online
uses easy to use GRAPHICS to click through.
10. And of course, if you bookmark us here at Champagne Living, you’re sure to find
the pick of the litter.

I’m like you. I say I’m going to do it, sort through all the ads beforehand and look through some of the sites you’ve listed to get sneak peeks. But on the eve of Thanksgiving when going to bed, I say forget it because there’s nothing that important that I need to get out of bed at 3am for.
Now Cyber Monday….that’s another story!
