Pantene – the experiment

Pantene recently sent me an ELABORATE kit in order to TEST their hair products. They thought of EVERYTHING right down to the lab coat and glasses. I was to be a Pantenologist. Did they NOT KNOW that I wasn’t exactly an “A” student in science? If I could capture the look of HORROR on my science teacher’s faces each time they saw me walk in the classroom door (I WAS the accident waiting to happen – just ask  my chemistry teachers), that would have been enough to let them know that a white lab coat – means MedSpa treatments to me, not a science experiment that I have to do.

Since Pantene has changed the way they look at hair care. Using cutting-edge research tools, THEIR scientists now understand the hows and whys of hair structure. I figured I’d humor them.

On the positive side – the mansion is still standing. On the negative side – my scalp is KILLING me from pulling out my hair to test. See, I told you this was not going to be good.

So, let me break it down for you in layman’s terms. Pantene has found a way for you and I to have HOT LOOKING HAIR, by providing shampoos and conditioners that keep our hair in the BEST shape possible.

Pantene has developed customized hair formula’s for YOU at a price that’s affordable – and you DON’T have to be a scientist to understand THAT.


I tend to be a cosmetic, haircare, product snob – but finances as they are, I’ve been looking for a product that is affordable and doesn’t dry out my hair. I’ve been trying a lot of the cheaper products and my hair looks like a cross between a porcupine and burned grass. In other words – EWWWWWW.    
I’m happy to say that rather than blow up the mansion, I actually TRIED all four of these shampoo/conditioner combinations and the Color Treated Hair products left my hair (dye job) looking fresh, soft and shiny. So, I was very happy.
