One to Watch from CBS – Three Rivers

Next to police and law dramas, I’d have to say that medical dramas are probably the most popular on network television right now. There hasn’t been a GOOD premiere of a medical show in quite a long time, which is why I’m excited that CBS is debuting Three Rivers this October.

Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to screen this new show, so I can only tell you what I’ve seen in the trailers and read about it, and what I’ve seen looks PROMISING!

Three Rivers takes place in a transplant hospital and brings the viewers face to face with the stressful business of getting organs to donors in record time and the toll that it takes on the doctors, patients and families. This ensemble of actors look like they’ll bring us some heart wrenching moments this season.

Starring Alex O’Loughlin, Katherine Moennig, Daniel Henney, Christopher J. Hanke, Alfre Woodard and Justina Machado, Three Rivers is a show to keep your eye on.

Oh and it’s MORE than a subtle reminder of how important it is to fill out your organ donor card.

Catch Three Rivers beginning October 4th on CBS.
