Bridget’s on the road – well, ON THE BEACH again and this week she’s visiting two of the most DIFFERENT places that I can imagine, Morocco and Cancun. Personally, I’ve never been to either spot – but having been in the Andalucia area of Spain, I can tell you that I’d LOVE to check out Essaouira. The setting has to be magnificent (Cancun doesn’t really tempt me). I’m looking forward to seeing 10PM episode this Thursday night!!
Essaouira, Morocco
One hundred miles west of bustling Marrakech lies Essaouira, a tranquil beach town with a reputation for world-class winds, great music and guaranteed relaxation. The wide-open beach, colorful medina and friendly locals make Essaouira one of Morocco’s most popular coastal destinations. Bridget and friend Pilar Lastra (Playboy’s Miss August 2004) enjoy a mix of traditional customs and modern fun.
Highlights include a dune buggy ride along the shore, testing the winds of Essaouira Beach, shopping in the medina, dancing to Gnaoua music, and a horseback ride fit for an Arabian princess.

Cancun, Mexico
Like Las Vegas, Ibiza and New Orleans, Cancun has a reputation. More than 3 million people visit this Mexican paradise each year for its crystal blue water, laid back attitude and never-ending pursuit of pleasure. Cancun is a great place to just let off steam, and enjoy the party.
Bridget explores Cancun’s beautiful coastline, natural wonders and exciting nightlife. Highlights include flying high above the Cancun shoreline, a sea trek at Xcaret Eco-Park, exploring an underground cave, and checking out the “wild life” at one of Cancun’s biggest nightclubs.
