- If we believe that a product, destination, etc. will not enhance our readers’ lives in some way, we will not promote it (even for a boatload of money).

- If we are offered a trip around the world in luxury, but we know that the brand is attempting to placate our writers or our readers, or cover up wrongdoing, we will have no part of it (of course we may whine about not being able to go, but in the end we know it’s the right thing to do).
We are honest
- Our readers are SMART. They can see through the rubbish. We don’t believe in pulling the wool over anyone’s eyes. We wouldn’t want it done to us.
