Get ready for the cold season

Get ready for the cold season

Summer is nearly over and we are about to face several months of wind, rain, snow and darkness. As sad as this may seem at first, I tend to try to see the positive things about it. First of all, let’s make clear that only because it’s cold outside doesn’t necessarily mean you can’t leave your house. In fact, you should go outside quite often. Meet some friends, go for a walk or do some sports – the more you move the less you risk becoming ill. Allow your body to adjust to the colder weather and develop strength to prevent colds and other illnesses. A nice side-effect is that you will feel much more satisfied when you come home and relax in front of the TV after you have spent some time outside in the fresh air. Just don’t forget to dress according to the weather.

Fashion for fall

Even when it’s cold and wet outside you can still cut a fine figure if you wear clothes that are optical contrasts to the grey and dreary weather. Bright and colorful dresses with huge prints and patterns are amongst the hippest designs this season. Add some beautiful and handy accessories like a scarf or a shawl and you are ready to face the cold with style. To further protect your skin from getting too dry and your lips from becoming brittle, it is advisable to apply some moisturizing products before leaving home. In case you couldn’t prevent some irritations and red spots on the skin, you can check out the selection of products related to skin care on schrammek.com. These products even have the advantage of not only calming and protecting the area of skin in question but also to conceal irritations.

Do not let the bad weather keep you from going outside, even if it isn’t too friendly. After all, there are some solutions to prevent getting a cold.

I need to remember to moisturize…especially my lips! They get so dry in the cool weather.
