I’m about to tell you about one of my favorite REAL circuses – The Big Apple Circus. When I heard that they had hit the road and were touring again I got SO excited. I just couldn’t wait to tell you about how they’ve set up the big top tent in Damrosch Park at Lincoln Center in NY. WHY?
If you’ve never caught the Big Apple Circus before I can tell you first hand that you’ll have the BEST time. To me, this is what the circus is SUPPOSED to be. Performed in one ring with animals, clowns & beautiful women. It’s just pure unadulterated FUN for the entire family.
Now Bello is back under the big top performing breathtaking feats of humor in the theatrical focus of one ring with no seat more than 50 feet away! Bello is joined by a world of stellar circus stars and the Big Apple Circus’ very own clown – Grandma!
Performances of Bello is Back! begin on October 22nd and run through January 18th under the Big Top at Damrosch Park in Lincoln Center, before making stops in Atlanta, Boston, and other East Coast cities, and you can get

OK, before all of my friends in REAL LIFE start commenting – I’ll come clean. As most of you know I used to be an actress and a dancer. What you don’t know (except for my friends in REAL life) is that I also worked as a clown (as well as some other “unusual” jobs). Hey…times were tough & as long as I was performing it was all good. So before Jenn or Donna or any of my friends EXPOSE ME. Here’s a picture of me with a couple of other clowns that I worked with (please excuse the condition of the photo – it’s about 30 years old).
If David or Garth see this – I apologize for blowing your cover….

Thats awesome!! My great aunt used to work as a clown, Cookie! That was her clown name and that's what we all still call her. She used to come to family events as Cookie the clown. It was great!!
