Sometimes, just one word says it all. BROWNIES. Unless you are one of those people who doesn’t like chocolate, I’m going to take a wild guess and say that a GOOD portion of my readers (like me) LOVE ‘EM!
Personally – give me a great big square brownie, add a scoop of vanilla ice cream and smother it in Hershey’s Chocolate syrup (whipped cream, nuts & cherry optional) and I’m a happy camper. WAIT…no, I’m not a camper…I’m a happy Mansionetta.
Did you know that Pillsbury can help you to CHEAT at brownie baking. YES, you can skip the baking part and move straight on to the brownies, and they TASTE just like homemade. If you’re in a rush, have baking skills that resemble mine (don’t ask – just be happy you’re not forced to eat what I cook), or it’s just TOO HOT to turn on the oven, you can buy Pillsbury Chocolate Chunk Fudge Brownies exclusively at Sam’s Club. These are made withthree types of cocoas with real chocolate syrup and milk chocolate chunks, so they REALLY taste like you made them yourself.
I do have to tell you that when I went to look for them, I started in the refrigerated section and worked my way back to the bakery, which is where I eventually found them. They come in a large pan size and are UNCUT – so if you are bringing them to a Little League game or other get together where you need a lot of small brownies, you can cut them in smaller squares. If you want giant mega-sized chocolate chunk brownies (YUM), you can do that too!
The nice thing about Pillsbury Chocolate Chunk Fudge Brownies is that they’re easy to personalize, just grab a can of frosting or even just lace some chocolate or caramel on top (I like to put a dollop of whipped cream on each brownie when I put them on a platter).
Since these are a Pillsbury product, you have the chance to support your local school with Box Tops for Education. Each package of Pillsbury Chocolate Chunk Fudge Brownies has 6 Bonus Box Tops that can be redeemed to earn cash for the K-8 school of your choice.
So, guess what I’ll be bringing to the 4th of July party at the beach this year? Ssshhhhh….don’t tell anyone that I didn’t bake them myself.
Thank you to Pillsbury and My Blog Spark for providing me with a gift card to purchase the brownies, frosting and the container to bring them in for this review. I was in no way compensated and all opinions are strictly my own.
