So, the kids are back at school with their first stop (after putting their stuff in their locker) being homeroom for attendance and to get ready for the day ahead. It’s a time for them to make sure that they’ve organized their homework from the night before, etc.
Now MSN has a HOMEROOM just for moms like us. It’s a place where we can learn to help our children succeed in school. A sort of homeroom right at home. Sponsored by Kellogg’s Frosted Mini-Wheats this interactive site is one that you’ll be able to use no matter WHAT grade your child is in.
Using videos, tips and articles we can learn specifics for helping our sons and daughters with
- Back to School
- Attentiveness
- Writing Skills
- Reading
- Giving Back
- Learning
- Memory
There’s even a community where you can interact and talk with other mom’s just like yourself and share your own tips for helping your kids improve their skills.
Looking back, I wish that I had a resource like this when my son was young. I really enjoyed watching the videos and learning concrete ways that I could have made his learning experience much easier, by offering him help at home.
So, grab a bowl of Mini-Wheats, sit down and check out Mom’s Homeroom.
